Playtech Sports QA Team is looking for a dedicated and meticulous QA Engineer to join our team. If you have a passion for quality assurance and a keen eye for detail, this role is perfect for you. Join us in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Job Description
Your Influential mission: You will…
- Develop, maintain, and execute clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Estimate and prioritize quality testing activities.
- Monitor and improve the testing process.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Participate in the analysis of test requirements and develop test plans based on requirements analysis.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by working with the product team.
- Execute test plans, analyze system logs and risks, and document problems.
- Organize and lead projects independently.
- Provide support to peers and other teams when needed.
- Provide training and assist new team members.
- Communicate with other teams/team members/team leaders for problem resolution.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Qualifications

- Hold a BSc in Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Possess excellent command of the English language.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Show cross-group collaboration skills.
- Can work effectively in a team environment or alone.
- Pay relentless attention to detail – meticulous to a fault!
- Have a strong desire to deliver an excellent customer experience.

- Exposure to bug tracking systems.
- Experience within a highly technical environment.
- Experience working in an agile environment and with an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Knowledge of web-related technologies.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Understanding of API testing tools (like Postman, REST-assured).
- Experience using Ubuntu for system-level debugging.
- Experience with Kibana for monitoring logs.
- Familiarity with TestRail for managing test cases and tracking test execution.
- Exposure to Prometheus for performance metrics.
