QA Engineer

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:
β€’ Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API
applications.
β€’ Perform thorough integration testing using APIs, ensuring seamless communication
between different platforms.
β€’ Identify and report bugs and defects through a designated bug-tracking system (e.g.,
Jira, ADO).
β€’ Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to understand and translate product requirements into effective test strategies.
β€’ Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
β€’ Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

β€’ 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
β€’ Experience testing web, mobile, and/or API applications (a plus for all three).
β€’ Strong understanding of integration testing principles and methodologies.
β€’ Experience working in Agile development environments.
β€’ Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases.
β€’ Experience with Jira and/or ADO for bug tracking (preferred).
β€’ Previous experience with TestRail (a plus).
β€’ Experience working in the HCM (Human Capital Management) industry (a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:
β€’ Integration of the client's HCM core platform with third-party systems like Greenhouse Earned Wage Access / Daily Pay, ACA (SyncStream), and Worker's Compβ€”PayGo.
β€’ Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
β€’ Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
β€’ Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
