Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mobile QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mobile applications through strong testing practices and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing of mobile applications across devices and OS versions

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios based on PRDs and user stories

• Perform feature, regression, sanity, and release validation testing

• Identify, track, retest, and close defects while ensuring release readiness

• Participate in release cycles and provide timely quality sign-off

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and improve product quality

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manual mobile application testing (Android; iOS exposure is a plus)

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes

• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios

• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman

• Working knowledge of SQL for basic data validation

• Understanding of client–server architecture, REST APIs, and mobile app behavior

• Familiarity with usability, compatibility, and performance testing for mobile apps

• Experience using version control systems such as Git

• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  
  

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with Android automation testing (Espresso, UI Automator, Appium)

• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting (Java/Kotlin preferred)

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution

• Familiarity with log analysis and crash reporting tools (ADB, Logcat, Firebase Crashlytics)
