Role Overview

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to be the sole owner of QA at Fancall. This role demands deep product understanding, sharp attention to detail, and proactive ownership to deliver flawless user experiences across our mobile apps and CMS.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end QA for iOS, Android, and CMS platforms.

  • Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

  • Perform functional, regression, and API testing (API testing is a must-have, not optional).

  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects to ensure smooth product releases.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to drive quality-first rollouts.

  • Provide Business Analyst (BA) support when required: requirement gathering, documentation, and product logic clarification.

  • Act as the single point of accountability for product quality and user experience.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional QA experience, preferably with mobile apps and CMS platforms.

  • Strong expertise in manual testing and exposure to automation tools (Appium, Selenium, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience in API testing (mandatory) using tools like Postman or frameworks such as RestAssured.

  • Familiarity with iOS and Android release cycles.

  • Strong product intuition: ability to test workflows, edge cases, and user scenarios.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to manage both QA and BA responsibilities.
