Role Summary

The QA Engineer is responsible for validating the functional correctness, reliability, and stability of the Media Pipeline Management & Control Web Application and its associated media processing pipelines. This role focuses on test planning, manual and automated testing, and integration validation across web UI, backend services, and media pipelines.

The QA Engineer will work closely with frontend, backend, and media pipeline engineers to ensure the system meets functional and operational expectations for sales demonstration and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and test cases from requirements.
• Execute functional testing of web UI.
• Validate backend REST APIs.
• Validate media pipeline behaviors.
• Verify start/stop, restart, and error handling.
• Validate live preview stability.
• Perform regression testing.
• Log, track, and verify defects.
• Participate in demo scenario validation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years QA experience.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Strong defect tracking and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing video or streaming systems.
• Familiarity with FFmpeg or GStreamer.
• Experience with automated testing tools (optional).
