Job Overview

Β We are looking for a Quality Engineer with expertise in functional testing to ensure the highest quality of our SaaS-based healthcare solutions. You will be responsible for designing and executing tests that validate the functionality and usability of our applications. In this role, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure our applications meet user expectations and deliver seamless, reliable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functional Testing:
    • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality against business and user requirements.
    • Conduct end-to-end, exploratory, and regression testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Test Automation:
    • Develop and maintain automated functional test scripts using tools like TestRigor, Selenium, or TestNG.
    • Conduct defect validation testing to ensure timely and accurate fixes.
  • Defect Management:
    • Identify, document, and prioritize defects in collaboration with development teams.
    • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues based on test results.
  • Collaboration and Documentation:
    • Partner with product managers and developers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, test cases, and defect logs to ensure clear communication and traceability.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in functional testing.
    • Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance the overall quality assurance process and testing frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience in manual and automated functional testing for SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as TestRigor, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and test management tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Β Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with healthcare applications or regulated industries (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java for custom test automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and shift-left testing methodologies.
  • Experience with performance and usability testing for complex applications.
