ABOUT THE ROLE<\/b>

As a Middle\/Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer,<\/b> youΓ’ΒΒll help ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics products that support data\-driven decisions in the healthcare domain. Partnering closely with product, data, and engineering teams, youΓ’ΒΒll balance hands\-on testing with automation to strengthen quality across APIs, backend workflows, and data pipelines. This role offers meaningful influence on quality strategy, growth in automation and analytics expertise, and a collaborative, ownership\-driven team environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO<\/b>
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Execute manual and automated tests across APIs, backend pipelines, and analytics outputs;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Validate data transformations, business rules, and calculations against requirements;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Write SQL queries to confirm data accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and investigate reported issues;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and execution reports using Jira\/TestRail or similar tools;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Participate in requirements reviews to identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases early;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Support automation efforts by creating or updating API test scripts and regression suites;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Collaborate with developers and data engineers to troubleshoot defects and verify fixes;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Contribute to improving CI\/CD test integration and quality gates;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Monitor recurring defects and provide visibility into quality trends;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Assist in validating releases and confirming readiness for deployment.

<\/div>
MUST HAVES<\/b>
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- 2Γ’ΒΒ4 years of professional QA experience in <\/b>manual and automation testing;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Strong SQL skills including joins, DML\/DDL, data validation, window functions, and logic validation<\/b>;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Experience testing APIs manually using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools<\/b>;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Basic exposure to API automation frameworks or scripting;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Experience using Jira, TestRail<\/b>, or similar QA management tools;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Understanding of CI\/CD concepts and version control such as GitHub <\/b>or Bitbucket<\/b>;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Ability to analyze functional requirements and propose test scenarios and edge cases;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Solid understanding of QA processes, regression cycles, and defect lifecycle;
<\/div>
<\/div>
\- Upper\-intermediate English level.

\- Python knowledge at a basic scripting level;

\- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses;

\- Experience testing Looker, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or similar BI tools;

\- Backend automation experience using Python\-based frameworks;

\- Understanding of data processing, ETL, or large\-scale ingestion pipelines;

\- Previous exposure to healthcare, pharma, or analytics data.
