Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, implementation-focused QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, functional accuracy, and seamless performance of our client-specific configurations and integrations.

In this role, you will partner closely with Solution Consultants, Implementation Managers, Product teams, and Engineers to validate workflows, integrations, and automations—serving as the quality gatekeeper before client rollout.

The ideal candidate is strong in functional testing, integration validation, API testing, enterprise workflows, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation Quality Assurance

• Validate end-to-end implementation setups across HR, IT, Finance, SCM, and other enterprise functions.

• Review FRDs, BRDs, solution designs, workflow diagrams, and configuration notes from Solution Consultants.

• Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria tailored to each client implementation.

• Ensure configurations, workflows, and data flows behave as per the defined design.
  
  

2. Functional & Integration Testing

• Perform functional testing, workflow testing, regression testing, and integration validation for:

• Workflow automations

• HRMS/Payroll integrations

• ITSM integrations (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Freshservice, etc.)

• REST/SOAP API-based interactions

• Event-driven systems and webhooks
  
  

• Validate:

• Data mapping

• Data transformation

• Cross-system sync

• Error handling & retry behaviours

Test workflows spanning multiple systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.

3. Quality Governance & Release Readiness

• Identify functional gaps, mismatches, defects, or misconfigurations before moving to UAT/production.

• Maintain implementation quality metrics and ensure all deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria.

• Own UAT support, including

• Defect triage

• Issue reproduction

• Client clarification

• UAT closure validation

• Provide go-live readiness sign-offs based on thorough testing.
  
  

4. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with Solution Consultants, Product Managers, Engineering, and Client teams to ensure accurate understanding of requirements.

• Prepare detailed QA documentation:

• Test summary reports

• Defect logs

• Traceability matrices

• Release sign-off documents

• Participate in client discovery/workshop sessions from a quality and risk mitigation standpoint.
  

5. Process Excellence & Improvements

• Contribute to the improvement of QA frameworks, reusable assets, and best practices.

• Identify recurring integration issues, process gaps, and propose preventive actions.

• Suggest areas for automation and efficiency improvements in implementation QA.

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of QA experience in SaaS products, enterprise workflows, or implementation-led environments.

• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes (HR, IT, Finance, SCM, Payroll).

• Hands-on experience with:

• Functional testing

• Workflow testing

• Integration validation

• API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman/Swagger.

• Ability to interpret solution designs, data models, workflow logic, and configuration documents.

• Proficiency in writing:

• Test scenarios

• Test cases

• Defect documentation

• Test reports

• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Rocketlane, ClickUp, or Confluence.

• Strong analytical skills, documentation capability, and clear communication.
  
  

Good to Have

• Exposure to BPM platforms, workflow engines, or low-code automation tools.

• Knowledge of test automation Playwright .

• Experience with chatbot or virtual assistant workflows
  (Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, Rasa, or similar).

• Familiarity with AI & Agentic AI concepts and how they impact enterprise workflows.

• Basic SQL for data validation.
