About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer specializing in manual backend testing with
working knowledge of Python scripting. This role focuses on validating complex
backend systems, APIs, and ML driven personalization workflows. You will ensure
the accuracy, reliability, and performance of backend services through detailed
validation and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
β Perform manual testing of backend services, APIs, and data workflows.
β Design and execute test cases, test data, and validation checks for backend
systems.
β Validate data pipelines, event-driven processes, and personalization logic.
β Use Postman or similar tools for API validation and end-to-end flow testing.
β Develop Python scripts for regression checks, data verification, and API
response validation.
β Work closely with developers, data engineers, and ML teams to debug
backend issues.
β Document test results, track defects, and drive closure through root cause
analysis.
β Contribute to maintaining test hygiene and improving QA coverage across
releases.
Required Skills & Experience
β 2β6 years of experience in testing with a focus on backend validation.
β Strong understanding of API testing, microservices, and data validation
techniques.
β Hands-on experience with Postman, SQL, and API response analysis.
β Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation or validation utilities.
β Familiarity with event-driven architectures, data pipelines, or analytics
platforms.
β Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
