About the Company: We are a growing B2B SaaS platform serving the automotive services industry. As revenue increases, we are scaling our product and engineering team with a strong focus on reliable delivery while avoiding founder overload. The backend has been rebuilt with an API-first architecture, designs are well defined, and the team is positioned to accelerate front-end execution.

About the Role: The client is seeking an intermediate QA engineer to support product quality as we continue to ship new features. This role focuses on sanity and regression testing across defined use cases and works alongside developers who own automated testing. You will help ensure releases are stable, intuitive, and aligned with expected workflows.

Β Β Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sanity and regression testing across core product workflows
  • Test new features against defined use cases and acceptance criteria
  • Identify, document, and clearly communicate bugs and inconsistencies
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes
  • Support release readiness and ongoing product quality
  • Contribute to improving QA processes as the product scales
Β Β Role Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience testing web applications in an intermediate capacity.
  • A solid grasp of best practices for sanity and regression testing.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, particularly the ability to anticipate and test edge cases beyond standard scripts.
  • Exceptional clarity and structure in communicating and documenting reported issues.
  • Adaptability and comfort operating within a dynamic, fast-paced product development environment.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Β Β Nice to Have:
  • Previous experience testing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products.
  • Familiarity working in conjunction with teams utilizing automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with remote or geographically distributed teams.

Success Metrics:

  • Bug Detection Rate (BDR) for Critical/High Severity Issues: Measures the percentage of critical or high-severity bugs found during QA testing before a feature is released to production.
  • Test Coverage Effectiveness: Focuses on the quality and comprehensiveness of the tests executed, ensuring that all defined acceptance criteria and critical workflows are thoroughly validated during sanity and regression testing cycles.
  • Regression Test Pass Rate: Tracks the percentage of established regression tests that pass successfully in each testing cycle, indicating the stability of existing features as new code is introduced.
