About the Role:

We are looking for a versatile QA Engineer who ensures data accuracy, system reliability, and seamless user experience across our B2B application platform. The ideal candidate combines data validation expertise with strong application testing skills to guarantee product quality across the data, backend, and UI layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios covering data ingestion, processing, and user-facing workflows.
• Validate ETL pipelines and data transformations by comparing source and target data using advanced SQL and test automation tools.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web modules, APIs, and analytical dashboards.
• Ensure data integrity and business rule accuracy within reports, dashboards, and UI displays.
• Conduct UI/UX validation for layout, responsiveness, accessibility, and usability across browsers and devices.
• Verify API integrations between backend data services and frontend applications using Postman or similar tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to understand business logic and ensure end-to-end data-to-UI consistency.
• Maintain test documentation - test cases, defect logs, and validation reports for each release.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, providing clear QA insights, risk assessments, and signoffs for deployments.
• Leverage automation tools (Selenium, PyTest, or Cypress) for repetitive test cases and data validations to improve efficiency.
• Perform root-cause analysis of defects across data pipelines or UI components to ensure quick resolution.
• Continuously improve QA processes by implementing data-driven quality metrics and dashboards for test coverage and defect tracking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics or mathematics.
• 4 - 7 years of experience on QA for Data and web related projects and products data management or reporting projects involving big data technologies

Technical Stack / Skills

·       Databases & Querying: SQL (Advanced), PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery

·       ETL & Data Validation: Informatica, Talend, DBT, or equivalent

·       Web Testing Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (manual or automated)

·       API Testing: Postman

·       CI/CD & Collaboration: Git, Jira, Jenkins, Confluence

Bonus / Good to Have:
• Python scripting for automation, data validations, or API workflows
• BI testing (Power BI / Tableau)
• Cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Exposure to Life Sciences or Healthcare data models
