This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Engineer in Europe.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge Web3 and DeFi products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business teams to create and execute test cases, identify defects, and support release cycles. Your work will help maintain high standards for functional and non-functional testing, improve QA processes, and contribute to a seamless experience for users of decentralized financial platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment, expanding your skills across APIs, databases, and micro-service architectures. You will also participate in exploratory testing, test planning, and coverage analysis while contributing to the overall success of product delivery.

Accountabilities

  • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing of Web3 applications and API platforms.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, checklists, and exploratory testing scenarios.
  • Document and report defects clearly, track issue lifecycles, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Validate APIs using tools like Postman and perform basic database checks as needed.
  • Contribute to test planning, strategy, and coverage across multiple projects.
  • Support release cycles, regression testing, and quality reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to enhance QA processes.


Requirements
  • Solid experience in Manual QA, including functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of test design techniques such as equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Swagger, Postman, TestRail/Allure TestOps, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases (SQL), and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong bug reporting, documentation, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage QA activities across multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Bonus: knowledge of blockchain/Web3 concepts (staking, wallets, transactions) or exposure to automation (TypeScript/JavaScript, Playwright, Jest, Cypress).
