A Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/d) ensures and improves the quality of PALFINGER’s Business Applications to provide continuous value for users. They are responsible for the software quality process within the product team, working closely with the development team, Business QA Engineers, and the Software Quality Management team. Covering the entire development process—from requirements creation to full implementation—their focus lies on fostering sustainable quality through mature code standards, thorough initial testing of new functionalities, and stable test automation for existing functionalities. Quality is emphasized throughout the entire development process, rather than being addressed only at the final stage.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure software quality for PALFINGER Business Applications
• Support the definition of requirements and their acceptance criteria
• Design, create, execute, and analyze manual and automated tests
• Provide early input of quality aspects throughout the development process
• Drive continuous quality improvement through close collaboration within the QA community

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical education in IT or Software Development with high quality awareness
• Experience in testing business applications (e.g. SAP) and handling/executing test cases
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Tosca)
• Knowledge of software test management and programming/development is an advantage
• Very good English and German language skills

Wir bieten ein attraktives und leistungsbezogenes Gehalt, das sich an der Qualifikation und Berufserfahrung orientiert und das für diese Position deutlich über dem Kollektivvertrag liegen kann (KV-Minimum auf Basis einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung ist EUR 52.197,04 brutto pro Jahr).
