Your Impact: What You'll Do
- Management:
- Oversee day-to-day quality assurance operations.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring and onboarding QA team members.
- Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations.Β
- Set goals and objectives for the QA team and ensure they are aligned with the overall business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the QA team
- Assist with testing and debugging software.
- Set quality standards and communicate them to team members.
- Quality Assurance Strategy and Planning:Β
- Develop and implement the overall QA strategy and roadmap for the organization.Β
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards, processes, and methodologies for software development.Β
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to achieve project goals and meet deadlines. Setting quality standards for the teams in various new testing technologies in the industry. This may include finding new strategies for automation testing and day-to-day work processes.Β
- Quality Assurance Execution:Β
- Oversee the design and implementation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Review and analyze software requirements and design specifications to identify potential quality issues.Β
- Conduct and oversee functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes. Quality Metrics and Reporting:Β
- Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of quality assurance activities. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to communicate quality-related information and address any concerns or issues
What Weβre Looking For: Skills & Experience
- Software QA Manager with 10-12 years of experience in the full-time product testing role.
- You should have 10-12 years of experience in the full-time testing role and at least 4-6 years in hands-on testing role as lead/manager.
- Handle technical, team-related escalations from the client and provide resolutions.
- Hands-on QA experience including testing automation. Deep knowledge of automation best practices and industry trends.
- Configure CI/CD systems such as Jenkins
- Support functional testing teams as Test automation consultant in Setup, Planning, POC, Delivery, Training, and handover of test automation solutions.
- Experience in non functional testing areas
