QA Lead

We are seeking a detail -oriented and experienced QA Lead<\/b> to oversee the quality assurance process for Web and Progressive Web Applications (PWA)<\/b> in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain<\/b>. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in functional, regression, and end -to -end testing of insurance applications, as well as a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/h3>

• Lead the QA strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of web and PWA applications
  <\/p><\/li>

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies
  <\/p><\/li>

• Design and review test cases for functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ensure coverage of domain -specific scenarios related to consumer<\/span><\/span><\/b> warranty insurance, <\/b>policy<\/span><\/span> administration, claims, underwriting, billing, and customer portals
  <\/p><\/li>

• Coordinate test planning, execution, defect tracking, and closure
  <\/p><\/li>

• Manage a team of QA engineers, ensuring proper task allocation, support, and mentoring
  <\/p><\/li>

• Provide QA status updates, metrics, and quality indicators during sprint reviews and release planning
  <\/p><\/li>

• Work closely with developers to perform root cause analysis and resolve issues
  <\/p><\/li>

• Contribute to the test automation strategy and review automation coverage for regression cycles
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ensure testing aligns with compliance and data privacy requirements
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Required Skills & Qualifications<\/b>
  <\/h3>

  • 6–10 years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role<\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong experience in Web and PWA application testing<\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Good understanding of Property & Casualty insurance workflows<\/b> (e.g., consumer<\/span><\/span><\/b> warranty insurance, <\/b><\/span><\/span>policy lifecycle, claims, billing)
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Have experience in multiple device and browser testing.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Experience with test management tools<\/b> like Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Solid experience in defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test closure reporting
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum<\/b> and participation in sprint ceremonies
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Basic understanding of front -end technologies for effective collaboration (HTML, CSS, browser dev tools)
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Exposure to AI -powered QA tools<\/b> (e.g., Testim, AccelQ, Tricentis Tosca with AI features, etc.) is a plus
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Good understanding of test management and tracking tools<\/b> (Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, Zephyr).
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.

    Preferred Skills<\/b>

    • Knowledge of P&C domain

    • Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Knowledge of performance or security testing tools is a plus
