Β Position Overview
AiFA Labs is seeking a seasoned QA Lead to drive quality excellence across AI/ML-powered solutions, intelligent applications, and enterprise platforms. This role is ideal for a quality leader who understands the unique challenges of testing data-driven systems, AI models, APIs, and scalable cloud-native applications, while leading high-performing QA teams.
As a QA Lead, you will define and execute end-to-end quality strategies for AI-enabled products, ensuring reliability, accuracy, performance, and trustworthiness across the solution lifecycle. You will work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, product teams, DevOps, and SAP teams to embed quality into every stage of delivery.
Β Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead and manage QA teams across multiple concurrent projects involving AI/ML, data-driven, and enterprise applications.
β’ Define and implement QA strategies tailored for AI/ML systems, including model validation, data quality checks, and continuous testing.
β’ Oversee manual, automation, API, and AI-focused testing, covering functional, regression, performance, scalability, and integration testing.
β’ Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, developers, SAP teams, and DevOps to ensure seamless releases and production readiness.
β’ Drive test automation and intelligent testing initiatives, including automation for ML pipelines, APIs, and cloud-native services.
β’ Establish quality frameworks for model accuracy, bias detection, data drift, and reliability in AI-powered applications.
β’ Manage QA resource planning, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
β’ Define, track, and report quality metrics, risk assessments, and release readiness to leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Establish governance, best practices, and continuous improvement for QA processes across AI and enterprise landscapes.
β’ Proactively identify risks related to data integrity, model behavior, scalability, and system performance, and drive mitigation plans.
Β Required Skills & Experience
β’ 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with 3+ years in a QA Lead or Test Manager role.
β’ Proven experience leading QA teams across multiple, complex projects in fast-paced environments.
β’ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect management processes.
β’ Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing, using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, JMeter, or similar.
β’ Exposure to testing AI/ML systems, including data validation, model testing, API testing, and performance evaluation (experience with ML pipelines is a strong plus).
β’ Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps-driven quality practices.
β’ Experience testing cloud-based applications on AWS and/or Azure.
β’ Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
