QA Lead

Role: QA Lead (Automation Focus)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a QA Lead who can take end-to-end ownership of quality across our products. This role will be responsible for setting up and driving QA automation, improving testing processes, and ensuring high reliability across releases.Key Responsibilities:

• Own the QA function end-to-end across products and releases
• Design and implement robust automation frameworks (preferably using Playwright)
• Define and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure quality from early stages
• Drive test planning, test case design, and execution (manual + automated)
• Identify gaps in current testing practices and improve coverage
• Monitor and improve release quality metrics
• Mentor and scale the QA function over time

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with strong focus on automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or similar frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Strong understanding of web application testing and APIs
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Good to Have:

• Experience in SaaS products
• Exposure to performance testing and security testing
• Basic understanding of backend systems and databases
