QA Lead (RPA+Python)
Headsup CorporationRole Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / Senior Software Test Engineer with strong
expertise in software testing across complex enterprise systems. The ideal candidate
will have hands-on experience in RPA, Python-based systems, CAD, Trip Optimizer,
and LEADER platforms, along with a solid background in both manual and automation
testing.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead end-to-end QA activities across systems such as CAD, Trip Optimizer, and
LEADER
β’ Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test
cases
β’ Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing
β’ Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium and
Eggplant
β’ Drive automation initiatives and process optimization to improve efficiency
and coverage
β’ Lead CVE remediation testing and security validation efforts
β’ Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
for requirement validation
β’ Manage the defect lifecycle using tools such as Jira and HP Quality Center
β’ Mentor and train team members on QA best practices and domain-specific
systems
β’ Support release cycles, deployment validation, and production support
β’ Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of QA milestones
β’ Provide status reports, metrics, and quality insights to leadership
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ 7β12+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
β’ Strong expertise in Manual and Automation Testing
o Tools: Selenium, Eggplant, TestNG
β’ Experience with RPA and Python-based systems
β’ Solid understanding of:
o Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing
β’ Hands-on experience with:
o Jira, Jenkins, Git, HP Quality Center
β’ Proven experience in:
o QA Leadership, Test Planning, and Team Mentoring
o Automation framework development
o Process optimization and quality improvement
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience working with safety-critical systems
β’ Knowledge of SOA-based architectures, ICE, and deployment workflows
β’ Experience in CVE remediation and security testing
β’ Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
β’ Domain experience in railroad systems is a plus
