Duties:Β
- Manage testing initiatives including defining and implementation of test automation strategy, including tools, framework, and approach for the projects across consumer and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with the development team, operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure correct requirements and test coverage for quality output.
- Analyze business requirement specifications, user documentation, user stories and prepare the QA documentation to assure quality of the tests to be developed.
- Participate in creating QA project toolkit - templates for requirements traceability, test plans, test cycles, test cases, test automation scripts and standard reports such as defect reports, test execution, test coverage, and automation coverage reports.
- Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering.
- Debug failures using Charles proxy tool and coordinating with developers to get the solution implemented as expected.Β Β
- Perform API/ web services testing using Soap UI tool/ Postman and perform testing by stuffing mock services when the actual services are not ready.
- Participate in training and mentoring the team members on the API tools and methodologies.
- Review team membersβ performance by giving feedback and monitoring the progress
- Lead discussion with the client for QA specific activities and tasks across projects.
- Responsible for E2E validation of photo orders that includes functional and regression testing.
- Responsible for defect management and status reporting.β¨Review the deliverables from offshore and report the status to client partners.Β Maintain and track daily activities, defect cycle, and ADO test script execution using test management tool.
Requirement:Β Applicants must have a Bachelorβs degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related fields, plus five years of experience in a related occupation. Travel/relocation required as jobs will be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
