Overview
Our client is a well-known FSI company and they are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented QA Manager to lead the QA team in delivering exemplary software solutions.Β
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team across various testing phases, including UAT, SIT, regression, performance, and functional testing.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsβdevelopers, product managers, and business stakeholdersβto define and refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Establish and promote best practices in QA methodologies, processes, and tools to uphold high-quality standards.
- Analyze test results to identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
- Oversee performance testing to ensure systems meet scalability, reliability, and security benchmarks.
- Drive automation of repetitive testing workflows to enhance QA productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Mentor and support the professional development of QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure timely testing and reporting to meet project milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a QA Manager or in a similar quality assurance leadership role.
- Expertise in various testing methodologies, including UAT, SIT, regression testing, performance testing, and functional testing.
- Proficient in utilizing tools such as Postman, Kafka, Selenium, Jira, and Confluence in a QA environment.
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
- Good command in both English and Chinese (Cantonese)Β
