About the Role
We are looking for a QA Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives across an operational intelligence platform and broader engineering organization. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to establish scalable QA processes, improve testing strategies, and ensure high product quality across complex AI-driven systems. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, systems-oriented QA leader with strong experience improving quality standards, mentoring QA practices, and building scalable testing processes in fast-moving product environments. This position requires both strategic leadership and hands-on involvement in testing processes, automation strategy, release quality, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the overall QA strategy across products and engineering teams.
Establish scalable testing standards, processes, quality metrics, and release validation practices.
Design test plans, regression strategies, and release readiness processes across frontend, backend, APIs, and operational systems.
Oversee test automation strategy and improve automated test coverage across applications, APIs, and backend systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure quality across operational dashboards, analytics workflows, distributed systems, and AI-driven product experiences.
Identify, triage, and prioritize production issues, quality risks, and release trade-offs.
Support root cause analysis and long-term quality improvements.
Mentor QA engineers and help foster a strong quality culture across product and engineering teams.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
Must-have Requirements
6+ years of QA engineering experience.
2+ years of experience leading QA initiatives or QA teams.
Strong experience designing QA strategies for scalable SaaS or operational platforms.
Experience testing complex frontend, backend, and API-driven systems.
Experience building and scaling automated testing processes.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
Experience defining scalable regression and release validation strategies.
Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and QA tooling.
Experience testing APIs, distributed systems, and operational platforms.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing automation integration.
Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum product environments.
Experience collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams.
Ability to lead QA initiatives in remote environments.
Strong communication and leadership skills in cross-functional environments.
Ownership mentality and a proactive approach to quality improvements.
