We are currently looking for a QA Manager Banking Systems to work Monday - Friday at our Branch located in Ogden, Salt Lake or Orem, UT.Β The QA Manager oversees and elevates the quality assurance program for our on-prem Core Banking System (CBS), centered on Fiserv DNA, and its ecosystem of integrated applications. This critical role combines leadership, testing experience, and core banking process knowledge to ensure stability, accuracy, and compliance of systems that support daily banking operations. The QA Manager will supervise the QA Specialist, champion future test automation, and partner with business leaders to establish functional and UAT test scripts, improve release readiness with stakeholders, and execute testing strategy. Ideal candidates will bring extensive banking domain expertise, test automation experience, and a passion for operational excellence.
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in testing within on-prem Core Banking Systems (Fiserv DNA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial services with deep understanding of cross-functional business processes.
- Proficiency in test management tools (Jira preferred).
- Experience with test scripting framework construction and documentation for test and production sites
- Familiarity with automation and AI tools for fast document generation, and test acceleration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for technical and business audiences.
- Progressive experience of leading or managing similar functions within regulated environments.

Job Description:
Leadership
- Lead and mentor the QA Specialists, creating a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Define QA team objectives and performance standards in alignment with technology goals and compliance obligations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, QA best practices, and emerging tools.
Test Strategy & Execution
- Design and own test strategies across functional, UAT, and compliance testing to reduce testing burden on business process owners.
- Author and maintain reusable, modular test scripts, both manual and automated, ensuring coverage across business workflows using Jira-Xray.
- Partner with the Banking Systems Project Manager, application analysts, and process owners to schedule, test, and validate updates, patches, and integrations in both our test site and production.
- Support defect management processes, root cause analysis, and issue triage in collaboration with technical and business teams.
- Deploy future test automation tools to streamline regression testing and reduce manual overhead needed during release cycles and hotfixes.
Risk, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all QA processes adhere to regulatory standards such as GLBA, SOX, BSA/AML, and FFIEC guidelines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test scenarios, validation results, and QA processes for audit readiness and knowledge sharing.
- Support both internal and external audits by providing traceable test records, logs, and change documentation according to policy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary QA liaison to stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into visual test scenarios and help ensure successful user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide support to non-technical or short-staffed stakeholders involved in UAT via testing support or feature-release discovery.
