The Role:
- Maintain site DAFM accreditation and ensure ongoing customer approvals through effective management of the QMS.
- Lead external and internal audits, including those conducted by DAFM, customers, and third-party certifiers.
- Develop and manage a robust internal audit program to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Own and maintain QMS documentation, ensuring timely review and alignment with current legislation and best practices.
- Investigate and manage all non-conformances arising from audits, customer complaints, and supplier issues.
- Oversee customer communications relating to quality, including handling requests, feedback, and complaints.
- Prepare quality performance data and present findings at management review meetings.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive best practices.
The Person: In-depth understanding of Quality Assurance principles within the FMCG sector.
- Strong technical expertise in high-risk production environments and knowledge of relevant food safety standards.
- Proven experience conducting audits and driving corrective/preventative actions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, methodical approach, and a results-driven mindset.
- Proficient in quality systems software and general IT tools.

Qualifications and Experience: Essential: - Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in a Quality Manager role within FMCG.
- Demonstrable track record in managing audits and delivering measurable improvements in quality systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.
Desirable: - Level 4 Listeria Management qualification.
