ASSYST is seeking an experienced QA Manager to support our client Onsite in Tallahassee, FL to lead and oversee all testing activities for a large-scale system modernization initiative. The QA Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for QA efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to established test strategies across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
โขย ย ย Lead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
โขย ย ย Act as the main liaison between SI vendors, project teams, stakeholders, and the PMO.
โขย ย ย Oversee defect management, risk assessment, UAT coordination, and regression/automation strategies.
โขย ย ย Provide QA metrics, RAID logs, test execution reports, and weekly status updates.
โขย ย ย Manage testing resources, release recommendations, and test close-out activities including formal sign-offs.
โขย ย ย Facilitate project kickoff meetings and maintain comprehensive documentation in approved repositories.
Required Qualifications
โขย ย ย Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or 4 years equivalent experience).
โขย ย ย Minimum 7 years of system development and QA experience across enterprise environments.
โขย ย ย Prior QA leadership or supervisory experience.
โขย ย ย Strong expertise in automated testing tools, scripting, defect management, and SDLC methodologies.
โขย ย ย Experience coordinating with System Integrator (SI) vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
โขย ย ย Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
โขย ย ย Must successfully complete a Level II Background Check.
Preferred Qualifications
โขย ย ย ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
โขย ย ย Experience with Waterfall methodology.
