The vitamins and premix markets in China are highly competitive and gradually consolidating. DSM has a major strength by having a very strong and recognized quality image. This is a key success factor for the business since it provides a superior margin to quality conscious customers and leads to a lot of support and goodwill from the quality and regulatory authorities. In addition, multinational accounts in China and accounts in Europe or US expect a “western style” quality system to be in place.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as the Key User of the SAP QM model, maintaining QA-related setups, solving SAP issues, and supporting SAP projects for assigned products.
• Maintain all quality licenses and permits (GMP, export license, product license) and ensure compliance in environment monitoring and product-related tests.
• Establish and maintain raw material and packaging material specifications, handle quality complaints, customer requests, and questionnaires for assigned products.
• Lead quality system compliance audits, routine quality inspections, customer audits, and supplier evaluations for assigned products.
• Serve as the key contact for pharma-related government affairs (FDA CDE), ensure validation status of key processes, equipment, and facilities, and maintain the validation cycle.
• Oversee quality system maintenance (MOC/NCR/CAPA), summarize and report stability test data, QA monthly reports, and handle any other related tasks assigned by the department or site.

You bring

• Bachelor level or equivalent experience in Sciences, majoring in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or analysis.
• Specialization in pharma GMP and QA/QC, with over 5 years of QA experience in pharmaceutical or fine chemical industries.
• Over 2 years of pharma registration skills and familiarity with validation approaches in the pharma industry, including computer system validation.
• Good English skills, with the ability to use English as a working language.
• Clear understanding or willingness to understand customer requirements.
• Good communication and social skills, with a high learning ability preferred.
