QA Manual Tester- Full Time- Mexico

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our applications. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.

What You Will Do:

• Execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications to validate functionality, usability, and reliability
• Review product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios
• Identify, document, and track defects clearly and accurately using defect tracking tools
• Perform smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing as needed
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to resolve issues
• Validate bug fixes and ensure defects are resolved without introducing regressions
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA reviews
• Maintain and update test cases, test plans, and test documentation
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before release

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Strong understanding of manual QA testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience testing web-based and/or mobile applications
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and well-structured test cases and bug reports
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases
