Roles & Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and manage the testing team in a software development project.
β’ Develop and implement testing strategies, plans and procedures.
β’ Define, document and maintain quality standards and procedures.
β’ Develop and maintain test schedules.
β’ Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide
meaningful feedback.
β’ Review test cases and test scripts to ensure they are comprehensive and accurate.
β’ Coordinate and execute manual and automated tests, report defects and track their resolution.
β’ Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are understood and resolved in a timely
manner.
β’ Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on testing progress and status.
β’ Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers.
Requirements
Prerequisites:
β
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
β’ Total 7+yrs of experience as a Test Lead.
β’ Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar leadership role.
β’ Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques and tools.
β’ Good understanding of software development life cycle.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team of testers.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Ability to identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
β’ Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr, etc.
β’ Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
β’ Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
β’ ISTQB/ASTQB certification.
