Quality Control Intern (Software Tester)

Responsibilities

• Participate in testing activities for web and software applications.
• Assist in creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and checklists.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and UI testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs clearly using issue-tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and support re-testing after changes.
• Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and expected results.
• Support basic API testing (e.g., REST APIs) under guidance.
• Assist in ensuring software quality, stability, and usability.
• Maintain test documentation and test execution reports.
• Follow established QA processes and testing standards.
• Learn and apply software testing tools and methodologies.
• Manage assigned tasks and testing timelines effectively.

Requirements

• University student majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• No experience required; background in Testing is a plus.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC.
• Familiarity with web applications and browser-based testing.
• Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn testing tools and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English: Basic level.
