Seeking a QA
Analyst / SDET I with deep expertise in New Distribution Capability (NDC)
systems within the airline domain. This role blends advanced quality assurance
and modern software development skills to design, develop, and execute robust,
scalable, and reliable automated test strategies across NDC APIs, distribution
channels, and backend integrations. The candidate will be responsible for
driving end -to -end quality, <\/span>developing automated and manual test
frameworks, validating complex NDC workflows, and ensuring the success of NDC
implementations from both a technical and business perspective.<\/span>

Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>- Basic understanding of NDC protocols, airline
retail, and order management workflows.<\/span>
<\/li>- Design and develop
automated test frameworks for NDC API testing, including request/response
validation, schema verification, and end -to -end transaction testing.
<\/li> - Create comprehensive test
cases covering functional, integration, performance, and regression
testing for NDC -compliant systems.
<\/li> - Develop and maintain
automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python,
or C# for API and web service testing.
<\/li> - Perform API testing for NDC
offers, orders, service lists, and payment workflows using tools like
Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
<\/li> - Collaborate with
development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using
tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
<\/li> - Execute manual testing when
required, including exploratory testing and edge case validation.
<\/li> - Identify, document, and
track defects using bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
<\/li> - Create and maintain test
data management strategies for various airline distribution scenarios.
<\/li> - Participate in requirement
analysis and provide input on testability and quality aspects during
sprint planning.
<\/li> - Generate detailed test
reports and metrics to support release decisions.

Qualifications:<\/b>
<\/p>- Bachelor's degree in
computer science, Engineering, or related field.
<\/li> - 2 -4 years of experience in
software testing with at least 1 year in test automation.
<\/li> - Strong programming skills
in at least one language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
<\/li> - Hands -on experience with
API testing tools and frameworks (REST Assured, Postman, Karate, etc.).
<\/li> - Experience with test
automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
<\/li> - Knowledge of airline domain
and familiarity with NDC standards, GDS systems, or travel technology.
<\/li> - Understanding of CI/CD
processes and version control systems (Git).
<\/li> - Experience with Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
<\/li> - Strong analytical and
problem -solving skills with attention to detail.

XML/JSON message formats and IATA standards.

testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

testing and SQL queries.
<\/li> - Experience with BDD
frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
