Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
- Build and maintain testing infrastructure and tools
- Develop automated tests for web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with software engineers to implement testability features
- Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards for test automation
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reporting and metrics
- Investigate and reproduce complex technical issues
- Contribute to product architecture discussions from a testability perspective
Requirements - 4+ years of software development experience with strong programming skills
- 3+ years of experience in test automation and framework development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience working in product-focused technology companies is preferred
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
- Experience building test automation frameworks from the ground up
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with multiple testing types (unit, integration, end-to-end, API, performance)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong database skills and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms and services
Preferred:
- Experience with microservices architecture testing
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Background in performance and load testing at scale
- Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment
- Knowledge of AI & machine learning testing approaches
- Strong software engineering mindset with focus on quality
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to mentor and guide other engineers
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies
