Senior Manual QA Engineer
MIRA- SearchMira Search β an international recruitment agency, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer for our client β a leading restaurant technology platform in the USA.
Responsibilities:
β’ Conduct comprehensive manual testing of APIs.
β’ Develop and maintain test cases and test plans for APIs.
β’ Test APIs, UI, integrations, and other areas based on project needs.
β’ Collaborate with developers and product managers to define testing strategies.
β’ Analyze production issues and collaborate on their resolution.
β’ Investigate API issues and ensure timely resolution.
β’ Analyze API performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
β’ Participate in the development of API testing frameworks.
β’ Design and execute automated API tests (optional).
Requirements
β’ Over 5 years of experience in API testing (experience in automated testing is a plus).
β’ Experience with testing tools (Postman, DevTools, Fiddler/Charles Proxy, Swagger).
β’ Practical experience in API automation using RestAssured, Cypress, or Playwright.
β’ Experience with programming languages (Python and JavaScript).
β’ Proven experience in creating and executing test cases, logging defects (JIRA, Bugzilla).
β’ Experience working in Agile/Scrum and cross-functional teams.
β’ Working with logs and metrics (DataDog, Sentry, etc.).
β’ Deep understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
β’ Knowledge of various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, API, and UAT).
β’ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
β’ Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
