Senior QA Analyst – 12 Month Contract

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst with strong Employee Benefits, Retirement Funds, Group Risk, and Life Insurance domain expertise. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional who can work independently, engage with business stakeholders, and contribute immediately without requiring extensive business training.

Experience Required

• 7–12+ years of QA/Test Analysis experience
• Senior-level experience within the Financial Services industry
• Proven experience in:
• Employee Benefits
• Retirement Funds
• Group Risk Insurance
• Life Insurance
• Investments
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders

Business Knowledge

Candidates should have a strong understanding of:

• Pension, Provident, Preservation Funds, and Retirement Annuities
• Umbrella Funds and Group Retirement Schemes
• Member onboarding and employer contributions
• Fund switches, withdrawals, and transfers
• Life Cover, Disability, Funeral, and Critical Illness benefits
• Death, Disability, and Funeral claims
• Premium collection and billing processes
• Contribution allocation and reconciliations
• Retirement and risk claims processing
• Regulatory, employer, and member reporting

Technical Skills

• Test analysis and test case design
• SIT, UAT, Regression, and End-to-End testing
• Defect management using Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Data testing and data reconciliation
• Power BI dashboard and report validation
• SQL and database validation (advantageous)

Transformation Experience

Candidates should have experience working on:

• System migrations
• Platform replacements
• Digital transformation programmes
• Legacy-to-cloud migrations
• Policy administration replacements
• Retirement platform modernisation initiatives

Highly Advantageous

• FIS Compass experience
• Experience on insurance or retirement platform transformation projects
• Digital transformation and migration programmes
• Automation testing experience (UFT)
