Your primary responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define comprehensiveΒ test coverage, determine testing types (functional, integration, usability, performance),and establish clear quality objectives aligned with business requirements
Create, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test cases for UI components,backend logic, API endpoints, and security features, ensuring coverage of standardΒ workflows and edge cases
Document defects with detailed reproduction steps, comprehensive logs, screenshots, andΒ environmental context. Assess severity levels and provide analytical insights into rootΒ causes for faster resolution
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using modern frameworks
such as Selenium, JUnit, PyTest, Playwright, or Cypress. Integrate automation seamlesslyΒ into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
What we look after when choosing our next colleague:
ο»Ώ 8+ years of focused experience in test automation with (preferred) 3+ years in softwareΒ development, demonstrating a proven track record in designing full-stack test automationΒ strategies
Deep understanding of agile development practices, DevOps culture, Shift-Left Testing
principles, and Continuous Testing methodologies within modern software development
lifecycles
Strong proficiency with Oracle databases (primary focus), along with experience in
PostgreSQL and MS SQL for data validation and backend testing
Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js, React), Java, or C# for test automation developmentΒ and collaboration with development teams
Experience with Azure cloud platforms (AWS or GCP knowledge is a plus), along with
CI/CD pipeline integration using GitLab CI/CD or similar tools
Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and InfrastructureΒ as Code tools (Terraform, Helm) for modern testing environments

And in terms of technical skills:
ο»Ώ Advanced knowledge of test automation frameworks, test-driven development (TDD),
and behavior-driven development (BDD) principles integrated into development
workflows
Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL query optimization, data validation
techniques, and database testing strategies for complex enterprise applications
Strong competency in object-oriented programming with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, orΒ C# for building maintainable test automation solutions and reusable test modules
