Senior QA Automation Engineer (Selenium)

Position Description:

Exp: 9+ yrs
Location: Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium-based automation frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks (Hybrid / Data-driven / BDD)
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Ensure maximum test coverage and improve test efficiency
• Contribute to QA best practices and continuous improvement

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Proficiency in Java or Python
• Experience with testing frameworks: TestNG / JUnit / PyTest
• Hands-on experience in API Testing (REST Assured / Postman)
• Knowledge of BDD tools (Cucumber)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitLab)
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good-to-Have Skills
• Experience in performance testing (JMeter)
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Basic understanding of security testing
• Experience working with microservices architecture
