About the Role:
We are seeking aΒ QA Automation EngineerΒ to join our team and take ownership of test automation across two SaaS products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building scalable testing frameworks, and can coach teams on best practices.
Youβll play a key role in ensuring quality while enabling rapid development cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and scale test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Migrate existing test suites from Cypress to Playwright.
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and enforce testing best practices.
- Work with modern frontend stacks (React, Vitest) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Support and guide teams in adopting lightweight QA discipline and processes.
- Quickly learn and adapt to Backendless runtime models if not already familiar.
Must Haves:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright in real-world SaaS products.
- Experience migrating from Cypress to Playwright (strong plus).
- Proficiency with CI/CD automation tools (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).
- Familiarity with Vitest, React, and modern frontend development.
- Comfort with Backendless or willingness to quickly learn.
- Ability to coach teams on testing best practices.
- Strong communication skills to bridge QA, product, and engineering needs.
