At ALS, we are developing a powerful Customs Management System that processes thousands of declarations every day and supports customers across the globe. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will become an important part of our development team, taking ownership of our test automation strategy and framework. Your work will play a key role in enhancing our software quality and reducing manual testing efforts.
AsΒ aΒ Test Automation Engineer, you will join our development team and take ownership of the test automation strategy.Β You will:Β
Derive test cases from business requirements, then implement them in our E2EΒ testsΒ (Playwright) and system tests (Kotlin)Β
Drive theΒ continuousΒ integration of our automated tests into our deployment pipelinesΒ
IdentifyΒ and implement new QA trends and technologiesΒ
Support manual QA efforts when neededΒ
Perform load tests toΒ identifyΒ bottlenecks before they occurΒ
Participate in ourΒ agile work processΒ
What You Bring:
Strong experience level in test automation
Experience in implementing and maintaining test automation infrastructures in complex software projects
Knowledge of frontend testing and modern web frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.)
Familiarity with our tech stack: Playwright, TypeScript, Java/Kotlin
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Good communication skills and English proficiency (B2 or higher)
Solid understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
Manual testing experience is a plus
βOur team is located across Europe (CET time zone). To ensure effective collaboration, your working hours should allow for at least a fiveβhour overlap with a standard CET workday.
