Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, both manual and automated, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep domain knowledge in Payments, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, create, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
Execute test plans, compile results, and report findings with clarity and precision.
Set up and manage test environments to support various testing phases.
Track, manage, and prioritize defects using industry-standard tools.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality goals.
Provide release support by validating builds and ensuring readiness for production deployment.
Review product documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy from a QA perspective.
Create and run SQL scripts for data validation and backend testing.
Perform database validations using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and advanced SQL queries to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Estimate testing efforts for new features and enhancements during sprint planning.
Apply knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to guide testing activities from planning to closure.
Apply out-of-the-box thinking to solve complex testing challenges and improve test coverage.
Contribute to and maintain documentation related to STLC processes and automation strategies.
Mentor and coach QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and career development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
Experience in Payments domain is highly desirable.
Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting.
Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an Agile (Scrum-based) environment.
Knowledge in BDD/TDD framework
Knowledge of source control and issue tracking systems like SVN/GIT
Knowledge on Jenkins CI/CD Environment聽
Experience in designing and implementing automation scripts from scratch


Preferred Qualifications:
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
Experience with cloud-native testing environment
Familiarity with release management and deployment processes.
