Senior QA Engineer

Grip Security is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our community!

We are a fast-growing startup in the software-as-a-service and AI Security Industry. We provide innovative solutions to securing the whole organization-to-SaaS surface. (More details: https://grip.security)

Using the newest technologies, we're working on solving a huge problem all enterprises face today; to govern the accessibility of all its employees to all 3rd party vendors (GitHub, SendGrid, Atlassian, and thousands more!), and to make sure there is no leftover/unwanted access to any of the organization's SaaS and AI assets. The SaaS and AI Security field is complex and challenging. Therefore, we're looking for super-talented people, who are not afraid of technical challenges and breaking down barriers to achieve good solutions.

The Job:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality of our software by guiding, supporting, and implementing a shift-left approach. You will take ownership of quality end-to-end - from early feature design through implementation to delivery - actively collaborating with developers to integrate testing practices earlier in the development lifecycle.

You'll design and execute comprehensive test plans, build and maintain automation frameworks, and integrate with complex, diverse system flows. Your work will directly impact product reliability, stability, and performance. You'll collaborate closely with Product, R&D, and Sales & Customer Success teams in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment where data and innovation guide every decision.

This role offers significant room to improve and optimize how quality is delivered at scale - whether by refining processes, introducing smarter workflows, or leveraging tools like AI to make testing faster, broader, and more impactful.

  • 4+ years of QA engineering experience, with at least 2 years actively writing and maintaining automated tests as part of the role.
  • In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and version release processes, with a proven ability to apply shift-left testing practices and integrate quality early in the development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing manual tests for web applications (client and server-side), including writing detailed test plans based on new feature requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze logs, system metrics, and networking data to perform deep root cause analysis.
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools and agent-based workflows (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) - and a genuine interest in leveraging them to optimize your workflow and scale your impact.
  • A proactive, ownership mindset - someone who continuously looks for ways to improve processes and do things better, not just faster.
