Senior QA Engineer

Join us as a Senior QA at Dedalus, one of the world’s leading healthcare technology companies, and be part of our Product Engineering & Technology team in Chennai, India. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact healthcare solutions by ensuring quality and performance of our global product portfolio.

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our Patient Portal (PXCS application). You will work closely within Scrum teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will:

  • Develop deep expertise in PXCS functionalities

  • Ensure and continuously improve product quality and performance

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases, plans, and reports

  • Analyze test coverage and enhance testing effectiveness

  • Collaborate closely with developers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners

  • Contribute to test automation initiatives

  • Perform integration and release cycle testing

  • Provide 3rd level support for complex customer issues

  • Support knowledge sharing and mentor team members

  • Ensure regular reporting of QA activities and progress

What you’ll bring

Essential Requirements

  • 6 - 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance

  • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies

  • Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test reports

  • Good knowledge of SQL and ability to retrieve/analyze data

  • Strong understanding of at least three platforms: Windows, Linux, Android, or iOS

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Desirable Requirements

  • ISTQB or equivalent certification

  • Experience in test automation

  • Exposure to healthcare applications or workflows

  • Ability to understand complex system architectures

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
