Senior QA Engineer

Amega Group is seeking to hire a Senior QA Engineer to join our talented team for working on the company website, client area and mobile app.

As a Senior QA Engineer, your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be joining a very professional product team, responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, as well as identifying and reporting any defects or issues. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our software development process. You will have an opportunity to bring your ideas to live, revisit existing test processes or build new ones.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing for a website and mobile application (Android and iOS)

• Follow QA processes and best practices and improve them

• Develop and execute test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products

• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage

• Perform both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security

• Design and maintain test environments, test data, and test tools

• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes

• Proficiency in manual testing, automation is a plus

• Experience with test automation platform: xRay, Allure or similar

• Experience with some popular testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwrite, Appium, WenDriver.IO

• Experience with any of end-to-end testing automation tools is a plus

• Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript or TypesScript

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team

• Understanding of API testing

Skills:

• Atlassian stack (Jira / Confluence), Postman

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Be a good listener and communicator

• Proficiency in English language

• Experience in load testing is a plus
