About the Role:
For our client in the gaming industry, we're now looking for a technical tester who thrives in Unity environments and understands the nuances of mobile performance and 3rd party payments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases and procedures - track test coverage and gather valuable performance metrics
- Plan, Assess and understand the architecture of the project to identify project weaknesses and ensure tests can cover those areas
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, QA, developers, artists, Release Manager and others where opportunity exists and be a stakeholder where needed - raise risk and potential future issues and highlight technical challenges
- Champion and enable developers to integrate more automated tests and quality practices where there is value in their respective projects and their game teams
- Organize and drive test automation improvement meetings with QA and developers.
- Assist in planning and setting requirements for automation tools and drive them
- Coach and help train other QA in specific tech areas such as API testing

Requirements:

  • Mobile Testing Experience (Android/iOS/Amazon).

  • Experienced in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, C#, or Typescript.

  • API Testing (Postman/Bruno), Load Testing and Performance Testing, OAuth

  • Webstore and 3rd Party Payment experience

  • Worked with account systems and logins

  • Has Unity experience and understands project structure and inner workings

  • Worked with automation tools such as Appium, AltTester, Selenium or similar

  • Has experience understanding or working with CI systems such as Github Action, GCB or AWS experience

  • Is comfortable working with Cloud Test Platforms or Device Farms

  • Teaching and coaching skills

  • Worked in development cycles and shipping

  • English (full proficiency)
