Fusion is our integrated cloud platform for CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB.Β As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will independently ownΒ aΒ quality strategy for a functional domain, drive automation, and influence engineering practices across teams.Β
This is a hybrid position in Pune, India. You will report to Senior Manager, SQA.
ResponsibilitiesΒ
Participate in Scrum ceremonies: planning, Daily Scrum, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective to gather requirements; estimate, plan, and execute testing activities; report progress to stakeholdersΒ
Work with the Agile team at improving Quality Assurance processes and be an ambassador for qualityΒ
Develop and execute software test plans & Test Cases at the user interface level, including functional tests, performance tests, and workflow tests toΒ identifyΒ system and software problems and their causesΒ
Create and manage API automationsΒ
Perform functional testing, regression testing, ongoing system integration, and periodic build verification tests as part of each product release cycleΒ
Perform both manual and automated testing. Create scripts to support automation testingΒ
IdentifyΒ redundant test scenarios and work on their automationΒ
Serve as the team liaison to make transparent overall quality status and risksΒ
Investigate and communicate anything that may impede progress on projectsΒ
Support customers and provide feedback on training issues as well as defects encounteredΒ
Stay accountable for project deliverables & deadlinesΒ
Ability to stay self-motivated,Β maintainΒ accountability within the team, and achieve resultsΒ
Proactively leading by example,Β serveΒ as a means from which teammates can learnΒ
Be a champion of the overall strategy and help team members embrace joint ownership of qualityΒ
Minimum QualificationsΒ
Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience with API Testing and AutomationΒ
Experience with CAD or Industrial DesignΒ Β in 2D Sketch, Assembly and designing mechanical partsΒ
Experience in testing solutions based on ML/AIΒ
Experience working in a Scrum team is required.Β Β (JIRA experience preferred)
Basic knowledge of modern programming languages, preferably Core Java, or PythonΒ
Welcoming new challenges and readiness to extend knowledge outside current areas of expertiseΒ
Preferred QualificationsΒ
Experience in application testing with AIΒ
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.)Β
Working Experience or educational background in 2D and 3D CAD is a plusΒ
Experience in agile software development processΒ
