You are who we are looking for if:
Youβre interested in working on a complex product and are ready to thoughtfully engage with every stage of the development processβfrom collecting requirements and writing acceptance scenarios to validating the final result before release. Youβll be the quality gatekeeper who ensures each release sounds crisp, understands intent, and gracefully handles the messy realities of the phone network.
Responsibilities:
- Manually test the Voice AI telephony system
- Analyze user stories for completeness and consistency
- Design test scenarios and define acceptance criteria for new features
- Estimate task complexity and discuss possible solutions with the team
- Participate in the development of testing and evaluation infrastructure
- Implement automated tests
- Ensure the overall quality of the product
- Run automated tests and verify their results
- Collaborate closely with developers, telephony experts, AI engineers, and product managers
Requirements:
- Experience working in an Agile development process, with tools like Jira and GitLab
- Hands-on test automation experience (Python or TypeScript)
- Knowledge of API (WebSocket, REST, gRPC) and UI testing
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Self-managed, proactive work style with the ability to work independently in a team-centric environment
- Strong analytical skills, excellent bug reporting, and a curiosity to push the system to its limits
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with our tech stack: PostgreSQL, Kafka, TypeScript
- CI/CD automation skills; we use Kubernetes, Flux, and GitOps
- Background in SIP-based telephony systems and strong understanding of end-to-end call flows
- Experience in AI product development and quality evaluation (ASR, TTS, LLM)
