Senior QA Engineer (Testing|Python|Cloud) ( DSC|SN)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Engineer to join the team and lead quality assurance efforts across our software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing strategies, mentoring junior QA engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Define and implement QA best practices, standards, and processes.

Automation & Tools

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Execution & Reporting

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and DevOps.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure testability.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
