What you will be doing:

Technical Part (80%)

• Delivers high-quality new features and improve the existing ones to our clients via our online platforms
• Be a part of & responsible for the full software development life cycle 
• Ensures high quality design, code, and test reviews

Management Part (20%)

• Manage a local team, made up of 5-7 members physically in the same location. Across multiple domains and product streams (Full Stack, Devops, QA…)
• Recruits, manages, mentors, and develops a best-of-class engineering team
• Collaborates with tech lead or expert/head of practice feedback to develop their people
• Collaborates with teams across the UK and France and share ideas and experiences to the wider team to achieve team (and therefore business) goals
• Enforce guidance to our development teams regarding designs and best practices as it relates to application security

What you need to be successful:

• Master’s degree in related field preferred 
• Minimum 8 years' QA experience
• Experience of people management, but still technically hands-on 
• Experience working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver software development projects
• Solid verbal and written/diagrammatical communication skills (in French & English)

Tech environment and Tech skills required: 

• React, JavaScript/TypeScript, ASP.NET MVC & WebForm
• C# .NET & .NET Core & .NET 6, Python
• Oracle, Postgres, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ
• Ansible, Octopus, Docker
• Linux, Windows
• Tools: VisualStudio, VS Code, PyCharm, Azure DevOps services, git, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Teams
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent)
• Experience on API tests (REST/SOAP) via Postman or equivalent
• Understand and challenge a rich technical stack (Micro-services, High-availability, Multitenancy, Data Lake)
