Job Description

Are you passionate about Quality Assurance / Quality Control and are looking to progress your career working on projects located around the world? At the business unit Subsea Cables we are looking for QA/QC Engineer to take on this challenge.  You will lead QA/QC implementation on projects in line the Boskalis integrated Quality Management System (Way of Working/WoW), client, legal and certification requirements. As the project QA/QC lead you will be the main point of contact with stakeholders and interface with the Employer, Sub-contractors, Suppliers and 3rd party representatives. This goes hand in hand with continuous improvement of our standards and processes in order to achieve operational excellence. As a QA/QC Engineer you will be required to travel abroad to visit projects and sites.

Your responsibilities as a QA/QC Engineer:

• Preparation of project and business unit QA/QC procedures, plans and instructions;
• Gain understanding of the contract quality requirements and project quality documentations review; 
• Prepare and deliver the Project  Internal and external audit program; 
• Lead, Coordination, verification and witnessing of inspection activities in compliance to Industry standards and Client requirements;
• Preparation of inspection documents, procedures, ITPs;
• Initiate NCR life cycle, including investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action and final closure.
• Project reporting and collation of quality data

Your Qualifications and Experience
You can make your mark as a QA/QC Engineer if you have:

• Industry recognised Quality qualification - Engineering degree or equivalent Quality specific certification
• Internal / Lead ISO 9001 Auditor Certification
• At least 3 years+ experience in a Quality related position.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, 10005 & 10006.
• Experience of Internal and External auditing, including preparation of audit schedules throughout the project lifecycle
• Experience of Inspection and Test requirements including on-site inspections and report writing
• Experience of electronic reporting /action tracking software.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge / experience of projects in the Offshore Energy / Oil & Gas sector is preferable

• Your team: You are part of the Business Unit Subsea Cables and you are part of the SHE-Q community within Offshore Energy Division. This community consist or approximately 10 people.
• Where you will work: 
  • Netherlands: You will be working from our Campus in Papendrecht. You will visit project sites abroad multiple times a year.  
• Full-time job: This is a fulltime position (40hrs a week). In consultation with your manager 1 or 2 days working from home is open for discussion.
