As a remote-first organization, its tech team is distributed across the US and Europe, hiring primarily within MT and CET time zones. The team values versatility, close collaboration, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving across time zones.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the QA Lead, you will be responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, scripts, and process workflows. You’ll contribute to building and enhancing automation frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency. Your work will help ensure the product meets specification requirements, functions reliably, and delivers a user-friendly experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and document test plans and test cases for features and user journeys.
  • Spearhead QA presentations & demos to the broader business.
  • Contribute to the QA tool stack, maintaining suites for all functional & non-functional testing.
  • Monitor Sentry for logged issues, attempt to recreate, and then create tickets on GitHub.
  • Represent QA from the early stages of ticket creation, ensuring that acceptance criteria meet ticket standards.
  • Document quality assurance activities for reporting.
  • Investigate and test customer issue reports.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of Aidium’s apps and APIs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for bugs and issues, identifying gaps in test coverage or opportunities for improvement.

Who You Are

You’re an experienced QA professional with a strong background in automation and manual testing. You thrive in remote, fast-paced environments and enjoy working across time zones with a distributed team. You’re proactive, technically skilled, and excited about building tools that help real people in a highly regulated, data-sensitive industry.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within a QA role.
  • Strong coding skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.) for automation scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Hoppscotch, including writing automated API tests.
  • Knowledge of UI automation frameworks and best practices.
  • Knowledge of tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs for ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Proven experience in testing databases, including validating data integrity, performing queries, and ensuring accurate data processing in MongoDB (or
  • similar).
  • Keen interest in AI tooling.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfort working remotely within and with US/EU time zones.
