For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:Β 

  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Test Lead or Quality Engineering LeadΒ in modern delivery environments, accountable for quality across multiple teams and releases
  • Hands-on expertise in test automation, including planning, implementation, and sustaining tests at scale
  • Deep experience with API testing and service-layer automation, ideally in API-first or platform environments
  • Strong capability in regression coverage models and quality gates, using metrics to guide investment and reduce defect leakage
  • Experience in data quality testing, including pipeline validation, reporting accuracy, and E2E data checks
  • Comfortable working in CI/CDΒ pipelines and collaborating with engineering teams to integrate automation into delivery workflows
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Solid SQLΒ skills and familiarity with large-scale analytics pipelines
  • Fluency in English, at least B2 level
  • Availability for a hybrid work model, 1 times a week in the Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra office (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).Β
