Senior QAQC Engineer

We are looking for a Junior/Senior Quality Engineer who has relevant experience in quality control in manufacturing processes (metal, plastic, glass, mechatronics component and electrical component).

 Your Tasks:

• Responsible to lead and conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure product compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

• Work with different function teams (Procurement, Engineering and Production) to drive continuous quality improvement.

• Liaise with the vendor on the product quality specifications and improvement actions in the event of material quality issues.

• Manage customer complaints, perform failure analysis, and propose improvement actions.

• Conduct quality training for operators, inspectors, and production teams.

• Lead for ISO9001 audit – including preparing documentations and policies.

• Any other tasks assigned by superiors based on the business needs/requirements.

Your Skills:

• Degree in mechanical or mechatronic or electrical engineering field.

• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience within manufacturing industry.

• Proven track record in lean manufacturing techniques, 8D, Kaizen, 5S and ISO 9001:2008 in related industry.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications.

• Familiar with CAD software and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Willing to learn and continuously self-develop.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
