This role is ideal for a full-stack SDET who can help accelerate testing processes and architecture.

You'll be working on advanced automation frameworks and laying the foundations for automated testing across microservices. The ideal candidate is comfortable with hands-on automation at all levels, including API automation (e.g., Rest Assured), data validation and test data creation with SQL, performance and load testing, as well as interface, integration, and back-end testing.

We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in an agile environment, collaborates effectively across teams, and can proactively contribute to building scalable, maintainable, and high-quality test automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software engineers, developers, and UI/UX for continuous product quality improvements.
  • Work as a full-stack SDET within agile teams to facilitate and automate testing using Selenium with Maven (IDE such as IntelliJ).
  • Implement functional, integration, back-end, API, file upload/download, email parsing, cross-browser, and security testing.
  • Develop SQL queries for data validation and test data creation within automation frameworks.
  • Work with Docker containers and implement automation frameworks in containerized environments.
  • Coordinate with QA engineers and DevOps on automation framework architecture and maintenance.
  • Implement load and performance testing frameworks and tools.
  • Develop object-oriented programming standards and perform code reviews for other QA engineers.
  • Mentor and guide other automation engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues from automated regression tests.
  • Contribute to requirements review, test planning, metrics, bug tracking, and triage.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience & Requirements:

  • 5+ years in software QA, with exposure to enterprise software/SaaS products preferred.
  • 3+ years as an SDET with automation tools and frameworks.
  • Strong object-oriented programming experience (Java preferred; JavaScript/PHP a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, Rest Assured (or similar libraries), and Maven.
  • Advanced SQL and database testing expertise.
  • Experience with microservices, APIs (REST and SOAP a plus), Docker, AWS, and distributed applications.
  • Strong understanding of version control (Git preferred) and bug tracking tools (JIRA preferred).
  • Experience refactoring, scaling, and optimizing automation frameworks at the enterprise level.
  • Experience with unit testing, performance/load/stress testing, and automation integration.
  • Ability to mentor team members, review code, and share technical best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Education:

  • BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience/degree).
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
